  • Day1 Chengdu

    Transfer via: flight – your arrangement

    Activities for today: Airport to hotel transfer (Chengdu)

    You will be welcomed upon arrival at Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport and transferred to your hotel.

  • Day2 Chengdu/Ya'an/Kangding/Xinduqiao

    Transfer via: private vehicle

    Activities for today: Mt. Erlangshan Tunnel, Xinduqiao

    After breakfest, we will drive about 350 km (7.5-8 hrs ) to Xinduqiao via Ya'an and Kangding. Though it is a little long journey, take it easy, it will be not insipid because we drive through the longest tunnel in China - Mt. Erlangshan Tunnel and enjoy the picturesque scenery along the Chengdu Plain, the Dadu River and the Qingyi River.

  • Day3 Xinduqiao/Daocheng

    Activities for today: Maoya Grassland

    Today drive 360km ( 8 hrs) to Daocheng via Yajiang and Litang (4014m above sea level) . En route, we will drive through 2 high mountian passes (over 4000 m), view the Maoya Grassland, across the Rabbit Mountain - the biggest Tibetan Plateau glacier relic, and Haizi Mountain Natural Reserve (4500 m).

  • Day4 Daocheng/Riwa Village/Yading Village

    Transfer via: private vehicle

    Activities for today: Tibetan Family Visit, Chonggu Temple, Pearl Lake

    After breakfast in your hotel, we start our trip. First, drive 118 km (2hrs) to the Yading Natural Reserve. On the way, we can enjoy very charming countryside scenery and pay a visit to a Tibetan family in the beautiful Riwa Village (in Shangrila Town). Proceed to walk or choose to ride horse to Chonggu Temple. Pay a short visit to the Chonggu Temple and then trek up or ride a horse (about 15 minutes) to the Pearl Lake (Drolma-la tso) to view the holy peak Xiannairi. Later, return to Yading Village.

  • Day5 Yading Natural Reserve/Luorong Pasture/Daocheng

    Transfer via: private vehicle

    Activities for today: Luorong Pasture

    Get up early to enjoy sunrise at Chonggu Temple and then ride horse to Luorong Pasture to pilgrim the three holy peaks of Xiannairi, Yangmaiyong and Xialuoduojie. We will ride back to Yading Village and drive back to Daocheng in the late afternoon.

  • Day6 Daocheng/Xinduqiao

    Transfer via: private vehicle

    Activities for today: Drive back to Xinduqiao

    Today drive back to Xinduqiao via Litang and Yajiang.

  • Day7 Xinduqiao/Chengdu

    Drive back to Chengdu via Kangding and Ya'an.

  • Day8 Chengdu

    Activities for today: Chengdu Panda Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Jinli Ancient Street, airport transfer (Chengdu)

    This morning, we will drive about 1 hour to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to see China's national treasure - giant pandas. This is a very popular program for travelers to Chengdu so hopefully we'll avoid the long queues by arriving early. Afternoon return to the city to visit Jinli Ancient Street.

    Around 17:00 head to the airport for the flight to your next destination.

Private Transfers:
Between airports / railway station, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing in the cities specified in the itinerary by the private air conditioned vehicle with driver and English-speaking guide. Separate arrivals and departures will incur extra charges.
Entrance fees:
All entrance fees to scenic spots as listed above in the itinerary. The final arrangement will be determined by local tour guides based on the local circumstances which are beyond the control of LocalChengduTours. ZTG will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
Meals:
All meals as specified in the itinerary. “B” stands for western breakfast “L” for Chinese Lunch in local Chinese restaurant. “D” for Chinese dinner in local Chinese restaurant. The quotation is basic on the above normal meals. If you have any special request about meals, like vegetarian, or Indian food etc, please inform us in advance.
Private tour escort for Sightseeing:
Normal sightseeing activities as outlined in the Itinerary will be escorted with English-speaking guide.
The English-speaking guide and driver of each city accompany you throughout the entire tour in that city. They do not fly with you from one city to another.
Accommodation (if include Yangtze Cruiser):
Service based on two adults sharing on one standard twin/double-bed room (cabin); solo travelers or those who want to occupy one twin/double-bed room/cabin of their own are required to pay additional charge of single supplement rate. A single room (cabin) is subject to availability based on prior request at an additional cost; if the recommended hotel is not available, it will be substituted by a similar class one.
All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
Transportation:
All the domestic airfare of economy class with airport tax/ or train ticket(s) as specified in the itinerary.
