Yala Snow Mountain

Yala Snow Mountain, a holy mountain of the Tibetans in Sichuan province,  is located in the southeast of Daofu County, 147 km away from Kangding City and 500 km away from Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan Province. It is also named Zhara Lhaste in Tibetan meaning "the mountain of white yak in the east". Its hight being around 5,800 meters makes it higher than the mountains around. Glaciers on its ridge melt into the Yala River. Alpine views of mountains, lakes and plants are available around this holy mountain. It is a paradise of the hikers from all over the world.
